Join us for an at home edition of our History Happy Hours on Friday, May 8 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom.

In normal times, our History Happy Hours are a time for you to come to the Morgan Log House, hear a fun talk, and enjoy refreshments in a beautiful historic setting. And we’re looking forward to having that happen again sometime soon!

On May 8, invite us into your home, enjoy your own treats and drinks (we’ll be sharing some suggestions in the time leading up to this History Happy Hour!) and enjoy a History Happy Hour with us.

This History Happy Hour is about the Farmer’s Almanac and farm lore, and is inspired by our temporary exhibit “A Day in the Life of a Farmer,” about local farming in the early twentieth century through the diaries of William Leister, a farmer in Towamencin who kept a diary of his daily activities.

Tickets are $5 per home.

This History Happy Hour will be conducted through Zoom. Participants should download, install, and create a Zoom account prior to the History Happy Hour. Zoom can be downloaded here. The Morgan Log House is not responsible for providing any technical assistance during the course of the History Happy Hour.

Once registered and paid, you will receive an email prior to the event with a link to join.
